This is a very interesting activity for people interested in getting to know more about the Catalan culture and, of course, its gastronomy! We start in the morning walking through the beautiful old Gothic Quarter in Barcelona and its Ramblas, until reaching the “La Boquería” market where guests will buy the ingredients for today’s cooking class. For the tapas, we will hand out a buying list, together with a few euros – at “La Boquería”, all ingredients are fresh and best quality.

Then we walk by Plaza Reial and Plaza Sant Jaume in order to reach our gastronomy school. Here, at the school’s kitchen guests will be welcomed by the Chef who will introduce the group to the Spanish cuisine. Then we start preparing several delicious Spanish tapas - very useful when back home! Of course they can be eaten at the end of the course. You will also learn about the origins of different typical plates, and many useful things and also curiosities about the Spanish cuisine ….. we promise a highly interesting and amusing day!!
