If you have already spent a few days in Barcelona, then you might have already followed the footsteps of Antoní Gaudí or Joan Miró, two “Sons of the City” and two of the most important Catalans of the 19th and 20th centuries. So now it’s time for you to get on the footsteps of another important Catalan artist, probably the most important of all times: Salvador Dalí. This full-day excursion leads you to the places of Dalí’s life and work. Discover the amazing Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueras which was opened to the public in 1974, with Dalí personally supervising its construction during more than 10 years. It is a quite “different” museum from all point of views – so please discover it on your own!
The tour will lead us also the the charming fishing village of Cadaques and to Dalí’s home in Port Lligat at the Costa Brava, the place where Dalí lived most part of his life with his wife Gala. On the way back you will pass by the interesting Castell Gala Dalí in Púbol, that the genius gave to Gala as a gift... nowadays a museum. You will get a lot of information on Dalí, and we promise after this day you will understand much better this uniquely imaginative artist. Enjoy a day on the footsteps of Salvador Dalí!
