We leave early in the morning from your hotel in Barcelona towards Girona, a quiet and modern town, which lives in harmony with its past of over two thousand years of history. Our guide will join you for a walk and you will discover and enjoy the life of the town: the Jewish Quarter (the old town), the coloured houses overlooking the river Onyar, the Cathedral, the church of Sant Feliu, the fascinating museums, the path along town wall... they are all different places to contemplate.

Then the tour continues towards the city of Figueras, close to the French border. The Ramblas of Figueras represent a nice combination of the modern and the antique town, where as the main hall still reflects the history of this Figueras. Figueras’ main attraction is undoubtedly the Dalí Museum, nowadays Spain´s second most visited museum. Salvador Dalí himself decided in the early 60’s to construct “his” museum right here inside the former theatre of the town, which at that time was ruined. He worked personally during more than 10 years on the re-construction of the building, until the museum’s opening in 1974.
