Invented and developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century in New York City, “Pilates” is a method of simultaneous physical and mental training through movement – body and mind build a unit, allowing harmony and balance of body and soul. Pilates is also described as a mixture between oriental and occidental philosophies: the oriental disciplines train in a calm way, where spirituality and lightness are the focus, meanwhile the occidental exercises concentrate on movement, strength and muscular toning up. Pilates has no age limits and can be trained by young and old.
If you are a fan of Pilates, or you want to try it because you never did it so far, then this is a great opportunity: we collaborate with the best Pilates centre in town, where the training sessions will exclusively be carried out in group sizes of one, two or maximum three people. These sessions last approx. 50 minutes, and take place in an inspiring and beautiful environment.
